CHATRICE'S LEGACY
Chatrice bravely battled cancer with unwavering strength and a heart full of love for her family and community. Her courage inspired those around her, and her deep connection to others became the foundation of a legacy that will live on: Chatrice Forever.

In 2013, Chatrice was given a diagnosis that would change the course of her life: Brain Cancer.
Her journey was long and filled with unimaginable challenges. Over the years, she underwent multiple brain surgeries, several rounds of chemotherapy, and radiation treatments, each one pushing her to her limits. There were many times when doctors told her family that she wouldn't make it, that she was too weak to recover. But time and time again, Chatrice defied the odds. She got stronger, fought harder, and proved to everyone that she was a warrior, even when things seemed most hopeless.
What kept her going, even through the darkest moments, was the love and support from her family and a vast, dedicated community. Chatrice fought for them: her family, her friends, and every person who was there beside her, lifting her up when she needed it most. Her story wasn’t just one of survival; it was a testament to the power of connection, the strength found in community, and the deep bonds of love that surrounded her.
On June 14, 2024, Chatrice peacefully passed away, finally resting from her battle. Yet, her legacy is one of resilience, compassion, and the reminder that the fight against cancer is never one that’s fought alone. Chatrice's family and friends know that it was the collective strength of their community that not only kept her going but helped them through their darkest days, whether it was through caregiving, emotional support, or simply a shoulder to lean on.
In her memory, Chatrice dedicated herself to bringing that same sense of community to others who are navigating their own cancer journeys. She wanted everyone affected by cancer to feel the love and support that she had experienced, knowing that no one ever truly fights alone. It is with this spirit that we continue her work, ensuring that her story of hope, strength, and togetherness lives on for others.
